Summary

lnformation on performance of population of wild and cultivated trouts and their reciprocal crosses are analized for reproductive performance of spawners and weight and lenght of' fingerlings at 140-171 days of age.
Wild spawner trouts used showed an average of 104.2 gr in weight, 22.6 cm in length with 352 ova produced of 3.9 mm in diameter. Cultivated female trouts weighed about 6 times more and were about double the length, with a fecundity about 4 times greater. with ova of about 20% larder in diameter and of 1ower hatching rate measured at 7 days. Weight and lenght were highly correlated with fecundity (85%) and independent of ova size. Results f'or a diallel cross analysis for weight and length of fingerlings al 140-171 days of age showed significant effects of pure lines and maternal effects, no significant effects of hybrid vigor was found. The utilization of this type of crosses is discussed.
